Courses and events
inCommons is working to develop transformational learning experiences in creating, maintaining, and improving commons and commoning. We are not based in or affiliated with a university as formal education systems remain exclusionary to many potential learners and increasingly hinder positive socially-transformative research and education.
Our intention is to create a programme that welcomes learners interested in developing their commoning understanding and skills are supported through a 2-year part-time progamme delivered through residential weekend workshops and independent learning and practice.
Our courses and events are free to independent learners – income should not be a barrier to education.
We work with participants to support their needs for meaningful participation in our learning spaces and activities.

MCA
inCommons is building a “Masters” of Commons Administration (MCA). This course will be free to all, and taster sessions are already under way, from Brighton, to Bristol, to the Lake District.

Taster Sessions
We hold residential weekend workshops as part of our ongoing efforts to develop the full MCA. These weekends were designed to preview how the course will run.
